Felss GmbH organizes Training Day
Felss GmbH staged a Training Day from 9:30 am to 2 pm on June 30.
Young people from the region as well as their parents and teachers were able to obtain a comprehensive insight into the training programs offered by the training workshop at the company's headquarters in Königsbach-Stein. More than 150 potential applicants availed of this opportunity to experience the manifold training options on offer.
On Saturday, several job-specific contact points offered information on in-depth and qualified training as mechatronics fitters, machining and industrial mechanics as well as machine and plant operators.
"We do not apply any teaching methods but rather encourage self-learning and competence among our apprentices", claims Alfred Lewender, Learning Guide at Felss GmbH. "This approach helps to improve independent skills and an ability to solve problems."
Apprentices who in various schools support pupils by providing vocational guidance in their capacity as training ambassadors also supplied the numerous visitors with information on the multifaceted training opportunities offered by the companies in the Felss Group.
Felss GmbH not only trains apprentices in its learning workshop for employment within its own company but also for Felss Rotaform GmbH, a member of the Felss Group located in Bretten-Gölshausen.
"We are conscious of our social responsibility for young personnel. We wish to use the Training Day to encourage enthusiasm for our companies and show the new generation what opportunities are available", claims Mark Schwegler, CFO at Felss Holding GmbH.
