The demand placed on the designers at Felss was high from the outset: The energy consumption of a rotary swaging system was to be reduced by around 25 %. This was achieved through a whole range of measures. All this of course without compromising the manufacturing quality – quite the opposite!

The range is enormous for many users: Small batch sizes with specific component requirements must be manufactured together with large volume series on a system – including the regular retrofitting of the system. To ensure that the processes are economical, the change-over times must always be the focus. “Generation E“ machines have demonstrated outstanding performance here.
