Camshaft
This Felss camshaft has active cylinder management for the first time: when less power is required, the vehicle changes to a mode in which only two cylinders work.
Stator shafts are attached to the wheel frames with guide wheel blocks. They carry the rotating guide wheel there. Stator shafts from Felss have a lower weight, and that with more acceleration and more torque.
Stator shafts produced by Felss are distinguished by high-strength spline systems in thin-walled areas and offer greater fatigue strength due to precise spline forming. The tempering procedure is dispensed with due to cold stabilization – the service life of the toothing increases without heat treatment.
Increased hardness due to cold stabilization without separate tempering.
The highest degree of process security.
Reduced cycle time in comparison to conventional processes.
Two spline classes are more precise than alternative processes.

This hollow shaft unites advanced function integration with the highest resource efficiency and increased component strength.
