WHITEPAPER TO IT-/OT-SECURITY FOR INDUSTRY 4.0 SYSTEMS
M. Preisinger – Team Leader Software Development at Felss Systems in Nesselwang contributes to the whitepaper “requirements for IT/OT security in planning and operating Industry 4.0 facilities”.
The working group “Sichere Industrie 4.0” of the security network Munich has published the whitepaper requirements for IT/OT Security in Planning and Operating Industry 4.0 Facilities. The Whitepaper is to serve for machine and plant manufacturers, system integrators and operators as guideline to produce safe, digitized machines and plants. It was jointly developed by the working group members of the companies bihler, Felss, gt muenchen, Software Factory and ZF as well as the Fraunhofer ESK. About the working group „Sichere Industrie 4.0“:
Industry 4.0 and the associated digital transformation have a massive impact on the development, production, service and logistics processes of medium-sized companies. Being able to act flexibly and efficiently is of existential importance for machine and plant manufacturers, system integrators and operators. This requires a new dimension in the networking of factories, machines, products and processes, considering the associated security and privacy requirements. The working group Sichere Industrie 4.0 of the security network Munich is a working group of users for users and provides assistance on the topics of cyber security for machine and plant manufacturers, system integrators and operators. It is headed by Thomas Trägler, Managing Director of Software Factory GmbH.
