Rotary Swaging Machines HA
About the Machines
The rotary swaging machines of the HA product family consist of two work areas, forming and feeding. The systems work with a hybrid drive system: the rotary swaging frequency is generated electrically, feed movements on the other hand hydraulically. Various component sizes can be formed with the various machine types (HA16–HA120). The systems are available in various versions and sizes. They are, for example, alternatively equipped with and without NC technology, or also with an additional circulation system for the manufacture of steep transition angles at the ends and in the middle of a workpiece.
Profile
Machine types: HA16, HA25, HA32, HA40, HA60, HA100, HA120
Possible Component Sizes
The information concerning the component lengths always refer to the tube, not to the solid material.
- Blank length: 25–6,000 mm
- Finished part length: 30-7,000 mm

Discover Some of the Added Value of Our Rotary Swaging Machines

Lighter
Hollow lightweight design parts with low weight.

Stronger
Strengthening and greater stability of the workpiece – through increased hardness and tensile strength, as well as an uninterrupted grain flow.

Resource Efficient
Material savings through chipless production.

Faster
Short cycle times in comparison to lathing.

More Precise
Production of geometries close to the final contours.
Discover Machines for Other Processes

Axial Forming Machines
In the case of axial forming, a toothed matrix presses the external toothing onto a hollow or solid workpiece. The forming is thereby highly precise. The manufacture of internal tooth splines is also possible in this way.

Tube+ Machine
The Tube+ process developed by Felss enables the partial thickening of wall thicknesses. Thanks to the intelligent interplay of several axes and tools, the area to be thickened is continuously cold formed.

Transfer Systems
Felss transfer systems stand for the optimal interlinking of various technologies for complex tube geometries. This interlinking of various processing steps makes it possible to produce ready-to-install, complex components in only one run.
